Sixties Sam Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I bought this Monogram 37 Ford sedan about a week ago, and wasn't sure how I would build it, but then I saw Lyle Willits' post of his Humpty 36 Ford in two tone green colors and loved it! So, Lyle, I copied your colors, but I'll never equal your building skills! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, they say! This was built OOB with the only mods being the Revell 49 Merc chrome wheels painted Krylon celery, as is the body. The other shade is hunter green. 49 Merc taillights (reversed) were used. Interior is a light beige. It was an easy build - very nice kit. No engine wiring or plumbing was done - I'm lazy! I hope you guys like it. Comments welcome. Thanks for looking!
Ramfins59 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Great model Sam. I love the setting... and the guy standing there looking at the car.
rmvw guy Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Nice job Sam, I like the Mercury hubcaps and the two-tone. It looks good in those colors. Also love your diorama.
Sixties Sam Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 FB banner car.....nice. I can't figure out what FB means. Sam
surfjunke Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Very nicely done, Sam. Really like the diorama as well. Those wheels really changed the look of the kit, like it.
