smellyfatdude Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I loved this kit, and need to get my hands on another one. This was done from memory, trying to replicate a car that used to reside here in the city. The powerplant is from the Revell ' 69 Nova.
tomsheehy Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 This is a great kit, and you did it justice. I just took a first in box stock with mine at Masscar last weekend. Almost the same color, too.
o-man Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Darcy, your models look so real. I wish I could do 25% of what you do. I guess in due time
charlie8575 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Pretty color combo on that one. Charlie Larkin
wilderness1989 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 EXCELENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
peekay Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 That came out great! Nice colours and I like the white-wall "delete".
smellyfatdude Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 Thanks for the replies, everyone. I forgot to mention that the chrome on the rear bumper was worn off in two spots, when I opened the kit. So I dechromed the whole bumper/rear panel, sprayed it with Testors Aluminium metalizer, and foiled the bumper. You can't really tell, even when you look close. Just wish I'd remembered to do the center bar between the tail lights. Oh well, the next one I build I'll remember, and that one will be done using the kit engine.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Looks great!!! I like the work done on the rear bumper, looks perfect.
