smellyfatdude Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Build to replicate a real car we owned briefly, around the time I started first grade. That ' 57 had been a V8, then converted to a later model six/auto, so I used the six with powerglide from a Trumpeter ' 63 Nova. Swiped the back seat from a ' 57 Pro Shop kit, as well as the photo etched grill, locks, scripts, emblems, etc.
smellyfatdude Posted March 21, 2013 Author Posted March 21, 2013 A couple shots of the engine, and the spartan interior.
rmvw guy Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Add another nice to the list. Scratch that, it's awesome! I love the 6 banger too!
Sixties Sam Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 (edited) Very nice! The six looks good in that car. I wish that kit came with an optional six and a back seat. Sam Edited March 22, 2013 by Sixties Sam
Scalper Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Sweet.. like the paint. another nice and clean build
guybrush Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 yeah thats great i like it... i thing there are too less kits with a six cylinder out there maik
bbowser Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 That is sweet! I've seen enough Belairs for a lifetime, good to see a 150. My neighbor has this exact car (6, 3 on the tree, black and white) that he bought new in high school and has had ever since. Great model.
