The other day I was cleaning and waxing some of my old builds, and I "foud" my 1996 Mustang GT and thought in sharing it with you guys.

I built this one around 1999, or maybe 2000 from a Revell kit of the Boss Shinoda Mustang. I didn't like the decals, the front spoiler, and the wheels, so I used the wheels from a snap kit to kind of reverse it to a regular Mustang. I pinted the turn signals wrong, and also did other mistakes, but it turned out ok.

The paint used on the body was a spray can automotive red from Sherwin Williams's Colorgin brand.

That's the 95 gt with the 5.0 engine and the horizontal tail lights, I said it cause I own a 96 gt and I am looking for a kit

of the same to built, and when I saw this thread I jumped.

But besides that..IT LOOKS ASOME,.....very reallistic and clean.

That's the only gripe I have, the car is a '94 or '95. Still, a lovely job on this one. B)

AMT did a 96'gt coupe in their snapfast plus series back around 1997 and you could kitbash it with AMT's 97 gt kit to get a detailed build, check ebay or post in the wanted section here in the forum maybe someone can help you.

Yes, you are right. I don't recall if the box had a model year or not... I built her more than 10 years ago, so I'm not sure about why I used the year 1996, and even had a 1996 licence plate installed on her
