Porscheman Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Another comparison, Growing up in the 60' and 70's, I never liked these cars. They were poorly made, rattled over anything and you had to roll down the windows to get the door to close, but they were fast. The Challenger was painted in Ford Candy Apple Red from Ford parts dept. The Cuda in Chevy Silver blue that looks like it has a green tint. Both are Monogram's. I always like the Challenger better. Al
Tompidom Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Sweet man! Just finished my cuda, the challenger is on the work bench. I like what you made out of these two!!
Monty Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I'm kind of split on this. I thought the '70-'74 Cudas had incredibly well styled front ends, but I preferred the '70 & '71 Challengers over all of them. If we're talking '72-'74, then the Cuda wins hands down. Al, I swear you and I have the same taste in paint colors.
JasonC Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I'm more of a Challenger fan myself. So going with the Challenger. Also, you got 71 centers on the rallys of the Challenger. Should be silver
gtx6970 Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Challenger hands down. Although I have one of each in the shop right now to work on.
realgone58 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 They did have quality problems when they were new, but most was superficial, like rattles and such. Lots of them were in the dealer for leaks too. But, once straightened out, they were fast and very cool! I always preferred the Challenger over the Cuda, but on your builds, the color on your Cuda looks great.
TFchronos Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Man that's not fair, I can't choose one over the other either. Both are very nice, well done on them.
guybrush Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 hi al like the other said nice job on both...my favor is the challenger regards maik
