Custom Hearse Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 The '67 mustang is headed for auction... http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/gone-60-seconds-star-eleanor-heads-auction-she-222116636.html
warra48 Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 That's the car from the remake of the movie, not the original Gone in 60 Seconds.
Custom Hearse Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 Yup... That's why I said the 1967 Mustang, NOT the 1973 Mustang...
dmk Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I never liked the car in the remake. To me she would have been much sweeter as an all original GT500.
slusher Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 l love the mustang from the remake, lf l was loaded l would buy it.

heinz74 Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 i've already got 2 '67 GT500's... in 1/18 Autoart diecast ( both colours)....and one of the fist Eleanor's in 1/18 diecast.. if i was loaded i would certainly want the 1/1 in my garage....although the dutch DMV propably wouldn't clear it for a registration over here i know of 1 existing over here..the guy bought it in the US about 8 years ago..that one is legal ...
fatkidd Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 real sedate like as to not draw attention from the cops right? Drive it like you rented it!
Daddyfink Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 It seems that everytime I turn on one of those Car Auction show, they are selling this car! How many did they clone!! Sorry, I would rather buy something more unique.
ToyLvr Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Watching the Nicholas Cage movie version tonight. Would definitely bid on it at the Mecum auction if I had a spare $300,000 laying around. But geez, that could buy a whole lot of models for the collection. I'm so conflicted now...
JamesW Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Think if I threw in a bid of 350,000 pennies I could take it? LOL
