I should really be calling this one, Left Overs. Because it sure is. She came to life from my parted out 1/24 kits.

The kit really lends itself to a classic gasser very well. The straight axle and rear wheels/tires are from the Boothill Express, the I-6 from the Monogram '53 Chevy coupe. It has some great speed parts.

Without further ado............some shiny just for Jim.

Nice model. Great paint and the 6 is a nice change. I like the fact it's not an over-the-top style gasser, it's something you might have actually seen back in the day.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad you like it. I did do a bit of research. Straight sixes were in fact raced in gassers, and since the '53 came with such a nice one it was a no brainer. I really had to pull it against the firewall to get it to fit though.

That turned out cool! Nice paint and excellent color. The decals fit perfectly to this one also, and that Six Cylinder Engine is nice & Different choice. Great Job.

A mural? Nope just the rooms reflection in my shiny paint! :D I hope to be at the MAGS show this year. Likely the Pinellas Park show too if it happens.
