Whats up fellas.... this build is something I've started to take a little of the edge off with a pro mod build I have going on right now... The body is from an older build that I decided to redo a long time ago, I'm just getting around to doing it... I soaked the body in purple power to strip the paint, I've got the body cleaned up pretty good... I will be using the chassis, engine and drivetrain from the r/m 69 camaro... This will be a big block car, and I've got the bumble bee stripe for the nose.. I'm thinking about adding a vinyl top to this one too... here's a few pics...

I used the cowl hood from the r/m nova kit,, it seems to be a little taller than the 69 camaro hood....

Nice Re-start. I'll have to remember that Nova hood transplant for when I go to build my 67 Camaro. I'll be tuned in.

Tyrone, where did you get the wheels for this? They look perfect for this build.

Thanks Monty.... the wheels and tires are from the stars and stripes Corvette... I love these torque thrust wheels, the rear ones are wider than the fronts in kit... I picked up a few of these kits for the wheels and tires....

Tyrone, To be honest with ya bro, the hood from the Revell 69 Z/28 kit'll fit with a little fudgein'. Unless of course if you just WANTED to do it this way, i totally understand, ( I built my L-88 nova hoods this way) you did do an excellant job on it.

Thanks George... I went with the cowl off of the Nova kit because it is a little taller, and I like the way it came back a little farther towards the cowl...

I assume that is the Amt 68? How does it mate up with the rm 69 chassis and firewall etc?

yes this is the AMT kit... The r/m chassis fits real good... I like using them because the detail on them is so much better than the AMT kit.... I'll post some pics later on today of the firewall.....

Fred the interior tub is from the 68 Camaro kit... No issues at all with the 69 chassis fitting.... If you look closely at the pic.. I trimmed the back area behind the fuel tank a little other than that it was no problem....

Whats up fellas... I got a little done on this one tonight... I went ahead and mocked up the radiator and the support to make sure everything fits before any painting is done... I also sanded those raised areas off on the front inner fenders... and I put the engine together to check fit.... everything fits well... I like the detail this adds over the amt chassis... thanks for looking and comments welcome..
