Brett Barrow Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 So wonderfully perfect in every way. I have GOT to make up one of those silicone tuck-and-roll molds... And practice on all aspects of my modeling. Lots of practice. Then I'll get there! Thanks for showing us how it's done. Inspiring stuff.
sbk Posted May 2, 2013 Author Posted May 2, 2013 Fantastic interior. Where did get the purple plastic for the dash knobs? I really like them. Sorry, I didn't answer your question earlier. The colored plastic is from Midwest Products. I found some at a local RC/hobby store, but many places online carry it. The white sheet I used is Evergreen. Here's a link I found, but just do a seach on Midwest Products, & you may find a dealer in your area. http://www.caboosehobbies.com/catalog/index_home.php?manufacturers_id=647
crazyjim Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Thanks for the info, Steve. I'm guessing you just laminate the color and white pieces and then sand them to shape? The pieces look very cool.

Yes, I glue 1" x 1" squares together, slice them into thin strips & shape with files & polishing sticks. Edited May 4, 2013 by sbk
TheRX7Project Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 That is the most amazing interior I have ever seen. Looks better than most real car interiors!
Taxdude Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 If you didn't know it was a model you'd swear it was real.
carrucha Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 As usual awesome work so far. I really dig the knobs. I can't wait to see the finished model.
Mooneyzs Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 This is one beautiful build. I am really impressed by your skills and checked out a few pic on your FB.... Very nice work!
