Plastheniker Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Hi everyone, I made my first modelling attempts in the late fifties before I came to school. Once infected modelling remained my favourite hobby over all those years. Despite some temporary excursions to diorama and WL modelling my emphasis always was on car and truck modelling resulting in approximately 250 models still in my hands. I intend to present some conversions of vintage U.S. trucks a few scratchbuilt vintage German heavy trucks several classic Grand Prix racing cars from the beginning to the early sixties street legal sports cars of all periods I join this forum as some kind of refugee from quarrelsome forum users in Germany. Although they are a very small minority it is almost impossible to dodge their attempts of starting a vendetta. I do hope the atmosphere here will be peaceful and really focussed on modelling. Writing this I realize how rusty my English has become. I hope it will improve.
crazyjim Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 Welcome, Jurgen. Sorry, but I don't know how to but the dots over the u. There's plenty of great stuff here and occasional moment of drama. Can't wait to see some pics of your builds.

W-Machine Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Wilkommen, Jürgen! Your English is certainly much better than my German, and like my esteemed colleagues, I also look forward to seeing photographs of your work.
W-409 Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Wilkommen Jürgen! Ich komme aus Finnland und ich habe viel Englisch in hier gelernt. I hope that's correct, or at least understandable. I'm currently studying German in High School. Looking forward to see your builds!
