Brianl Posted June 12, 2013 Author Share Posted June 12, 2013 Finally had a go at masking this thing & it hasn't turned out too bad. Getting four parallel lines of tape over that bonnet (sorry.... hood) was murder. I have just stripped the tape off so it needs a bit of cleaning up but all in all, it works I think. Colour is Tamiya Racing Blue which is darker than Shelby used but I have a couple of other models I want to use the Shelby blue on. Detailing the rear deck is next, fuel cell, cage etc then it should almost be done. As you can see I have solved the wing problem with a curve & a high angle of attack!
