FIREMODELMAN Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 (edited) Well , after living in a 5 bedroom house for 10 years I finaly got my own room..Having two of the kids move out, dad decided to take one of the rooms over, and get out of the COLD basement. I re-painted, moved most of my stuff up, now I'm set up and ready to build again, and not freeze my rear end off. Here's a few pics, thanks for looking, Dave. Edited May 12, 2013 by FIREMODELMAN
mikemodeler Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Nice set up Dave, glad to see you on here and hopefully some new builds will be forthcoming!
1930fordpickup Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 (edited) Nice space . It looks like you have a nice man cave. Edited May 12, 2013 by 1930fordpickup
Quick GMC Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Looks good. I flipped out today and started gutting my room. It's a hobby/guest room. I emptied everything and will be done tomorrow, new bench. So nice when you freshly organize everything.
High octane Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I use one of the bedrooms for my den. I build models in it, read books/magazines, pay bills, watch TV, listen to music, and also yak on the phone, as well as use my laptop in this room.
scaleauto Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 It has been my experience that kids also move back and bring pets. I also took over a bedroom. We call it manland Nice job. Let's build.
bpletcher55 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 dave nice room ,it feels good to have a nice room to build in,

RJWood Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Looks like a great place to get some building done. I noticed you stick your empty boxes to the wall, I do that too. Congrats on getting out of the cold.
mikemodeler Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Cool digs. The best gift you can purchase for an 18 year old? Luggage. That there is too funny Jim!
gtx6970 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Cool digs. The best gift you can purchase for an 18 year old? Luggage Agreed, and Oh buy am I going to remember this line.
crazyjim Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 There's often a problem with giving the kid luggage. They take the hint and leave, multiply, and then come back.
