FIREMODELMAN Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Here is a 1941 Chevy fire truck I built. The body on this one is all scratch built. I won my 3rd first place with this truck in '08, then gave it away to someone who had eye balled it all day. 1/32 scale Mack snap kit. Added details. 1/32 scale Aurora California fire truck. Built box stock.
Harry P. Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Both are incredible! But I really like the '41. Man, that is nice!
Danno Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Nice job on the '41, Dave! So . . . how much do you regret giving that one away?
Jim B Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Great job all around. That 1941 is fantastic. Where did you get the 1/32 firefighter?

FIREMODELMAN Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 3rd Place on the 1941 Chevrolet ....................... musta been I P M S . Hey, that's a grand national build ! I wasn't very clear , It won 1st place that year, it was my third year in a row with a first place win in my category. Thank's for the nice comments, I really don't regret giving the model away, as it went to a friend , plus the model had a somewhat personal meaning to him and his family.
