Badluck 13 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Callin' this pig done.....I think I had the only ill fitting Revell snap Pete made, nothing on the cab including the cab fits right,i.e. grab rails air horns, cab to flooring......oh well looks good from a distance or in its case which it don't deserve......You be the judge, comments good(I think not),bad(more than likely) welcome...thanks for lookin'........... Roadracer Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 It looks really nice to me! My 'pigs' never see daylight!! LOL!
Jim B Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 You know, Mike, it doesn't look half bad. I think you did a pretty good job with it. I like the colors. Engine looks good, too.
signguy2108 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Good looking truck, just enough detail to hide any flaws. Without a little modifying they are what they are, snap kits.
Swamp Dog Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 i like it..u did a great job....i like the colors..
BigBad Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Looks good from here! At the very least you managed to get the tires to fit the rims properly! wiring on the engine, rusted turbo custom single headlights and nice baby moons by the way!
Badluck 13 Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Hey Thanks everybody!!!!I have it in a case and from a distance she looks great so I will deal with it I guess, dave @ Roadracer it almost didn't see daylight
Q tip Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 looks good to me.thats the best part of this hobby. grab a razor saw and fix what the designers didn't.
Badluck 13 Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 looks good to me.thats the best part of this hobby. grab a razor saw and fix what the designers didn't. Thanks John, but in my case instead of a razor saw I really wanted to take a dull hatchet to it
Mopar - D Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Nice looking Pete with all the extra detail and customization it's hard to tell it is a snap kit.
bandit1 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Uh i have to ask....What flaws are with the kit minus the tire issue at the beginning of the run?... ...Ive never experienced these issues!
Badluck 13 Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 Uh i have to ask....What flaws are with the kit minus the tire issue at the beginning of the run?... ...Ive never experienced these issues! I stated that I must had the only ill fitting Revell kit because all the other completed ones I see seem to have a nice fit to them, mine for some reason just did not line up between the hood and cab(hood was much higher than cab) and the flooring didn't mount to the cab correctly, none of these problems I had with the snap Kenworth,I just think it was a defect in the cab because nothing on the cab fit correctly...
Badluck 13 Posted May 26, 2013 Author Posted May 26, 2013 How on earth did you do the peterbilt logos! Very easy to do,the logos are very well defined,I just used BMF and then filled the area with Tamiya transparent red and wiped gently over the insignia....Thanks!!

Ahh! I was thinking you did the red, then BMF'ed the letters only! That would require some little gremlins!
catd11rpusher Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Love the color, nice job on the cat engine. You made a simple kit look good
