RIC417 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 HI GUYS HERE MY DYNO DON MUSTANG PRO CAR. THIS MODEL IS A OLD MPC KIT THANKS FOR LOOKING AND ENJOY NORBERT(RIC417)
futurattraction Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 You've done another knock-out job on you DD Mustang. Do you have any engine pics? You definitely got it in the weeds like they originally were, which means you had to do a lot of re-work from the original kit. What did you do to get it down that low? I looks great, Norbert!
Mooneyzs Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Norbert... Wow this one is just Bad A$$!! I love the stance and the whole look of this build. Nice work man
AZ Boy Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Another winner, Norbert! You have built quite a nice collection of iconic Pro Stocks!
Mark72JPS Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Wow!! Very cool. Another great build. Love the 1970's Pro Stocks.
crowe-t Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Norbert, This Dyno Don Mustang II is beautiful! The stance looks exactly like Dyno Don's real Mustang II. You did a terrific job on the modifications.

gonzo64nova Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Great job on the paint and decals..they can be a real PITA. Your P/S builds are always dead on. -Bill
JPolli Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Very nice build !!! Great job on the stance. It would be nice if the original kit and the reissue (Fire Fighter) would have been tooled to this low stance (the way it should be). Maybe next reissue???????
booboo60 Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Hi, Did you paint all the Blue and red? or paint the blue, and still apply the decal over the blue? or ? lol Thanks like the stance,,
hambone Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Great job Norbert! You are the ONLY one on this site that did the engine placement/hood properly. All Mustang II's had a a hood that went full length to the base of the windshield. In Pro Stock the furthest front spark plug had to line up with the center of the front spindle. This meant in cars like the Mustang II and Pinto the Cleveland V-8 was shoved up against the firewall making the stock dimensioned hood a liability due to it ending at the cowl. They all had a one piece hood that eliminated the gap. I pieced my first Mustang II Pro Stock model hood together in 1975 and dropped a JoHan Cammer in for the motor, plus set back the front bumper into the body like Gapp & Roush did.
