Prayers coming your way from PA. These procedures are so common and safe today, that I have full confidence that you'll be home and back on the board in no time!

Good thoughts and prayers with you, Marshall.

A good friend of mine went through this just a couple of weeks ago. Didn't even have to break a sweat, it was such a smooth process. He was out of hospital the next day ... and now claims he's "partially bionic!" His wife says, no, he's now "remote controllable."

Good luck to you.

Actual heart surgery or just a difibb? Diffibulator is no sweat, in one day and out the next. I've had one since 2010, no problems so far. Good luck!

thank you to everyone who wished me well. it's been a rough week trying to cope with this mess. i really do appreciate it. at this moment i only have use of one arm so my typing is slow, and i'm unable to do any building.

larry, i had a double bypass already, the defib was necessary because my heart is working at 38% capacity.

danno, that's funny!

Marshall,

Glad you enjoyed that little anecdote. I hope it can help brighten your days as you work through your rehab and adjustment phases of recovery.

You can call yourself the Bionic-Electronic Custom Hearse now!!

Glad you made it! Mine is at 22%, but doing well. You'll be better in no time, just watch all the little precautions I'm sure they told you about.
