JamesW Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Rick just posted this on FaceBook. "As some of you know my life has been turned upside down in recent months and scaledreams has really taken a beating. Everything that could possibly go wrong lately has. It has taken a huge toll on me. I no longer love doing what I am doing. Its near impossible for me to do what needs to be done. Unfortunately that effects other people so as of this moment scaledreams is shut down. I am not sure if in the future I will bring it back or if this is permanent. I just now this is what is best for my kids and I at this moment. I have been picking away at orders and everyone who is owed something will get their orders. I am not ignoring anyone. I just can not force myself to enjoy it any longer. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years and for the lifelong friends I have made."
mademan Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 really sucks to hear! I hope when he does get things worked out he opens up again. Been a great store to deal with, super fast shipping and always has the products reasonably priced.

I hope things get sorted - I know what its like when things in life pile up making everything - even those you enjoy - difficult. I was planning to order some stuff for a couple of projects I have going, will watch how things develop with interest.

If this is the end of Scale Dreams under his ownership, I hope he has the intention of selling it to someone who would be able to continue the great service and products that were offered by him. This is such a loss for us...
