Mopar - D Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 Dan thanks for the comment and suggestions on the air horns
cdnmodman Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Really nice to see an out of the norm rig ! These old Bighorns although few built were really nice rigs from an appearance standpoint !! Your build really captures this one nicely. How did you find the Frontier resin casting ?? I have read many different comments on their quality. I know Ron Andrews at RMR also does a Bighorn and I do like Ron's quality and pricing !! Rick
Mopar - D Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 Rick other than having to change out the head lights the kit was good and fit well with the KW frame.
Platerpants Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 i like it, wish i could convince myself to spend money on a resin kit but i stop at like 50 for a kit, thats whats stopping me from doin a kitbash that i really wanna do. a 56 ford f800
Mopar - D Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 Harry the Dodge reference pictures I used had a white engine. It's a semi gloss white that I used.
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 I know this is a late post , but that is so cool!
72 Charger Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Just thought I would have another look at your lovely big horn and I notice that there is a slite problem with your front rims it looks like the outer ring didnt stick on !?
kilrathy10 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Not sure how I missed this one, Dan....Very nice work....I like the colors you chose....Makes it look like something you'd see at a truck show....Beautiful execution....
Mopar - D Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 Thanks for the updated comments. Dave one of the rim spacers came loose and I seem to always find these little things after I get the pictures posted. I've fixed it since then. Thanks for the info.

Modelbuilder Mark Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Cool model. I also like the little stretch of road you go there. Where did you get the rail and stop sign stuff?
Mopar - D Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 Mark , thanks for the comment and the road section is the Italeri roadway that I picked up on e-bay and painted.
BirdWatcher Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 I'd love to have this on my shelf! Love the color.
