SteveG Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 I had a great time in Chicago. I'm still digesting all the info that I got from Lindberg and Revell. It looks like most of the new items have been posted here already. Anyways, I uploaded the photos I took at the Revell and Lindberg booths and posted them to a Fotki Album. Here's a few highlights. Casey Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I was bummed the Rampage never happened, but I wonder if it would it have ended up like the Chrysler Atlantic and Copperhead, Corvette Indy, and Mustang Mach III concept car kits.
kelson Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I remember when they were announced, I was in for at least 6 of the concept demon roadsters and a couple of the Rampages, can't remember why they never appeared though.
SteveG Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 The new tools were dropped after Walmart stopped selling model kits in most of their stores. At least that's what Ernie told me .... There was also a new Mustang in that group but that was pulled as soon as they found out Revell was doing a similar kit, Steve
chadrob30 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Casey resurrected the thread. I guess when you're a bigwig you can do those things.

horsepower Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) 'Tis the season for speculating about what the new year will bring, and wondering what happened to what looked promising ideas from the past that never came to be. But just remember, "Curiosity killed the cat" . Edited January 22, 2015 by horsepower
disabled modeler Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 That Dodge L-700 with flatbed and load of crushed cars would be sweet.
unclescott58 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Why is this from 2007? Why not? Scott
horsepower Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I can remember waiting for the trailer and crushed cars to be released, but the L700 with the clunky '40 on it was the last of the Lindberg kits Wal-Mart carried, and that was the end of the Lindberg deal. I just wonder how bad they really got burned by Wally World dropping out of the deal.
