In my continuing efforts to complete all of my open-box builds so I have no more open-box kits, here's the Ford Mustang II concept car by Lindberg. The kit was not too bad and it wasn't missing any parts, so that was a bonus after some of the kits I've been doing lately. It was build box-stock with the exception of the flocking for carpeting. Here's the pics:

This is the first time I see this kit built...

As a huge Mustang fan, I must say, I'm glad it never ended up looking like that :P

You did a great job on it though! ;)

Nice. I have tis kit, gonna cut down the engine and make it a V-4.

Nice job Scott, this is a tough kit to build but you pulled it off. Nice to see it built stock, here's my 'custom' version if I may:

Very nice model.

I did a search on google but did not find much on this car.

Was it ever a real car?

Well, at least one was built, that's for sure... But it was a concept car and it never went into mass production as such... However, the 64, 65 and 66 Mustangs were largely based on it.

Perhaps someone can provide more info?
