Completed today is a 1962 Chevy bubble top 409 painted in HOK stratto blue. It's pretty much out of the box except it's wired, plumbed, and I used Crazy Scale Auto Parts air filters and FHP (Fatkidd Hobby Products) fuel filters.

Thank you, thank you. While I was building it I was listening to some oldies. . . . . my 4 speed, dual quad, posi-traction 409. 409. 409. Good tune.

Thank you, fellas. The kit wheels aren't bad, Eric. I shot them with Spaz Stix and then painted the spokes with a mix of Testors flat steel, aluminum, and flat black.

When I saw the Topic Title and the Poster, I knew this is going to be great. And I was 100% correct, very nice Bel Air with perfect engine choice. Nice detailing also, have you tried to fire it up already? I really like the combination of 409 under the Hood, 15" American Racings with painted spokes and shiny paint on '62 Chevy. Nice build!
