mademan Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Started out as a "quick build" of AMTs showroom 2013 ZL-1...... wasn't happy, so I hacked up a Revell 2010 Camaro SS and merged them..... the rest of the body is the same anyways. Mock Up on some 3D printed Concave wheels Front bumper all molded in with first round of putty, as well as filled the mail slot Rear diffuser all molded in , as well as side skirts almost ready for first shot of primer Corvette ZR1 ls9 right at home....I still need to make the correct supercharger cover
slusher Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Thats going to be a nice build. Great looking wheels..
Guest Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Only thing I dont like is the wheels. The big ones from the last issue of the 69 Shelby would look nice.
exesivefire Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Man I need to get up on this 3d printing thing.. I need a set of wheels to match my 1:1 grand sport Great work so far!
cjsbosox Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Off to a great start! I love the wheel design. What color combo ae you planning to use?
mademan Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 Pulled this one back out again, finished up most of the body work. Still unsure if I want to go with the trademark Red, or do dark Navy metallic instead.

Jim Whalen Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Looking good! Looking forward to see some more of your build. I have a Revell Camaro SS kit that I am converting into a street/strip kind of car but need to wait til the warmer weather now for the spray painting. Keep us posted with your progress.
Revstew Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Build is looking amazing. Do you sell the wheels or any other types of wheels? Great detail in the conversion.
