curt raitz Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 These DTM models have to be some of the best engineered plastic models Revell-Germany has ever produced. The fit is amazing, which is good because the only way you can put the front bonnet in place involves lifting the upper body off of the lower body. The upper body has four tabs to secure it to the lower body. This is the 2nd DTM car I've built, built the Audi version earlier...may have to pick up a few more enjoy: thanx for lookin'...
RancheroSteve Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Very nice! Not that I need any more kits, but I've been considering picking up one of these Mercs or Audis. BMWs are coming later this year, too: http://www.revell.de/index.php?id=210&KGKANR=0&KGKOGP=10&KGSCHL=55&L=1&page=1&sort=0&nc=&searchactive=&q=&SWO=&ARMAS4=&PHPSESSID=bc151c91719d0df7ebcd8aa38544b4ed&KZSLPG=&offset=3&cmd=show&ARARTN=07082&sp=1
Pete L. Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Very nice work ! Lots of detail on what looks like a very high tech race car.
RatRod Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Another great build Curt!!! So, do these compare close to Tamiya's fantastic fitment standards?
Silver Foxx Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Nice work on this , these things look awesome , love the way the pipes exit the body.
curt raitz Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 Another great build Curt!!! So, do these compare close to Tamiya's fantastic fitment standards? Yes, they do...the detail is actually closer to Hasegawa car models
