glenboy23 Posted July 23, 2013 Share Posted July 23, 2013 Greetings, I'm Glen and at the ripe old age of 59, I've decided to start building models again, which I last did when I was about 12-14. After completing a couple of kits, I've realized that age hasn't improved my skills, just my expectations for the results. I've picked up a lot from reading forums and the magazines, but I need lots more practice. So far I've been mostly interested in classic muscle cars. There is http://www.ipmssd.org/, which is all model types, and http://www.sdmodelcarclub.org/, which is strictly autos. Both are great clubs to join for questions and feedback. The difference is the techniques and tricks people will teach you that you just never figured out on your own. I know that was my experience!
