Piero Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Hi there ! I'll post here some pictures of my actual building, a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500, for my junkyard diorama. This car is from an AMT kit. I like that one because doors are openable. I've done some scratches and holes on the body : I've put an Iron base paint, before painting. I often do that to see the rust come from under the paint
Piero Posted July 28, 2013 Author Posted July 28, 2013 Primer paint : Yellow paint : Preparation for white paint : White paint : Result : To be continued....
Piero Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 Actually, the car is almost finished, so I think you'll like it !
Piero Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 After a little sanding and applying rust solution, the rust begins to appear... Some weathering effects... I've added a window on the right door.
Piero Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 The front bench is missing, there are some car parts, newspapers, a box, an envelope.... Almost finished !
Ford guy Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Now that looks like the '57 Fords I can afford! Great job, the interior detail is fantastic!
Piero Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 Thanks, tomorrow I'll post the pics of the finished car
