The planets must be aligned properly, or something because I actually managed to finish a truck! Wow!
Anyway, here is my version of the Revell 1937 Ford delivery truck. I only built this guy to see how the kit was because my son who turned 8 in May wanted a glue kit. I wasn't sure what kit to get, because he's also been hounding me for an ambulance kit. Since I wasn't going to spring for a SSB Resin kit for an 8 year old, I was at a loss. The Revell issued this kit & I thought it would be perfect. I have to admit that there are some tricky parts, but I think we'll be able to handle them together.
My version is the Sexton Foods version with two-tone Tamiya Green over Dark Green. It's essentially "box-stock", but hey, it's done!

Thanks, guys.

Harry, Sexton Foods was light green over dark green. The light green I used (Tamiya TS22) isn't quite a "neon" in actuality.

Thanks, Chris.

Playing around with Photobucket, and I came up with this "period correct" photo:

Thanks, guys. As I'm looking at the photos again, I noticed that I forgot to add the windshield wipers! I kept looking at to saying, "Something's missing. The windshield doesn't look quite right." DUH!
