Just finished this one today. Pretty much stock from the box. I dull coated the wheels. I used self stick felt that I got at Hobby Lobby for the carpet. I lowered the front but from the photos you wouldn't think so. I should of gone lower. That's what I get for not doing a mock up when I finished the chassis. I used a MAD distibutor which I must say are about the best ones to work with. The car is painted Prowler Purple then the decals were added and I hit it with 3 coats of Wet Look Clear. Polished a bit with Novus. Not one of my best builds and will go back in the box and in my storage closet. This one will not go in one of my display cabinets. On to the next one !!! Thanks for looking. And as always comments are welcome. Harry if your looking I know there are no door handles. It has hidden "poppers". : )

Looks pretty good to me Ray , but I know how you feel when a build doesn't turn out the way you wanted . . . been there many times !

I agree with you about the M.A.D. distributors . . . only ones I will ever buy !

Thanks guys. If you look at the exhaust you will see I cut off all the back section and added aluminum ends. Why ? Because stupid me got ahead of myself and installed the rear end. No way to get the full exhaust in. What to do ? Cut it off. Also I notice that I forgot to lengthen the drive shaft as it was too short. You can see it doesn't quite make it to the differential. : ( Not my best work.

Ray, none of us build "the perfect model". You have nothing to be ashamed of with this build. No one is going to pick it up and look underneath... Yeah...... I know...... You will... Nice job anyway.

I think it's great looking. I agree with your opinion about the stance. With those large wheels, it should be "tucking" just a bit. Great build none the less.
