Greg Myers Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 this has been on here a few times. Boy it sure zings through the net
Tom Geiger Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 In previous showings of this photo it was established that the car is an Aussie Falcon that we'd all be chopping out of the tree to restore! + Above mentioned RHD + Aussie license plate + Aussie tree - someone said eucalyptus.
Dr. Cranky Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 It'd make a great diorama. Base + tree + car. Great title already.
Harry P. Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Of course the obvious question is: How did it get in the tree?
sweeper Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 It's a Falcon. It flew up there and was going to build a nest!!!!!!
Rob Hall Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 It was junked somewhere 40 years ago and the tree grew up around it? Or hooligans (or the Aussie equivalent) put it up there?
RancheroSteve Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 That's a good size eucalyptus tree (native to Australia, but we have a lot of 'em here in California) and I'm guessing more than 50 years old. Somebody must have hauled the car up there. And I'm not sure how much of a restoration candidate that Falcon is really . . .
