Sportabout Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 Thanks your feedback. This resin kit was nearly perfect, only problems were slightly warped grille and hood.

1930fordpickup Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 This looks fantastic. The year it took was well worth the wait.
Sportabout Posted February 3, 2014 Author Posted February 3, 2014 Any updates? No, this model is ready and waiting for spring model car contest. No kits are in progress this time but I'm working with resin AMC/Rambler chassis. Hope to make more correct chassis and suspensions for Jo-Han kits and promos.
bryan_m Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 i love it!! looks like the truck from the movie "fire in the sky" when travis walton got kidnapped by aliens...........well it doesnt look like that one, `cause it was beat up, but it reminds me of it! very nice work, and good save on the frame too! cheers bryan
66belair Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I'm not a Dodge guy but that thing is really cool!
426-Hemi Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 -I got a truck like this '67 Power Wagon W-200, that has a 383 in it......... I've LOVE to make a model of my truck, but I can't seem to find anything even close to it!
peekay Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 That is a really fantastic looking model all round!
LouO Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Great work on an unusual model - I really like it! Reminds me of the truck in the very beginning of the move "Christmas Vacation". Hmmmmm maybe I just gave myself an idea for a build.
Atmobil Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Great work!! I love these Dodge trucks (my childhooddream was/is to have a 65-67 D100 1:1) and I was in the sky when I last year discovered that Modelhaus had a a 65 D100. I got that and it looks like a very good kit and seeing your crewcab built makes me want to order one of these aswell. Stunning job, yours looks almost like the real deal
Sportabout Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 Thanks all folks. I forgot a picture of the chassis but here is it:
Foxer Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 You're making this ugly thing beautiful! .. very nice!
Sportabout Posted December 19, 2014 Author Posted December 19, 2014 Ugly? This is ugly Old Dodge pickups are handsome
uncle potts Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 This is really cool! There are not near enough of projects like this out there, thanks for sharing.
dartman Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I have been watching this build as I had a 1964 W350.I bought it in Alabama on vacation one year.It was a slant six,no power steering or brakes and for the way it rode,no suspension.I drove it home all the way to NY and it was a long ride.
larry ray Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I like your truck a lot. I EVEN LIKE THE BLUE MOTOR . Larry
thatz4u Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 nice crew cab, it reminds me of a State Hiway Dept. truck I saw one time. They told me it would sleep 6 comfortably...
