Genegenie Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 (edited) ....Thought I would show you my big scale Monogram '32 Roadster. I built this about 18 years ago when it was the fashion to paint rods in pastel colours. I also converted the steering to UK right hand drive.....and it still survives up in my 'man cave' loft room. . Edited August 25, 2013 by Genegenie
Sixties Sam Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Very nice! I like the color, whether it's in fashion or not. Good work! Sam
PappyD340 Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Looks great in pastel Eugene, very NICE build!!
Genegenie Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 .....and to think I put it up for sale on Ebay a year ago for £50 ($78) - but no takers. Thank goodness it didn't go.
beeRS Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 That's a really cool rod Eugene. I love the 90's style pastel colour. In this scale the photo could almost pass as a 1:1 car. Good job that it didn't sell on ebay - you should be happy to hold on to this one for ever!
Genegenie Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 Sonny Quazi ...that's a name from the past ! When I used to show my models at the Hot Rod Supernationals at Knebworth there were quite a few of your models on the tables, or am I mistaken ???
rmvw guy Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 It looks superb! There is nothing that says "Hot Rod" better than a '32 Deuce in my opinion. I love the details and the right hand drive.
