Monogram Trantula

This is my take on Monograms' Trantula. I reshaped the nose, changed the headers and put on a pair of Pegasus Hobbies funny car front rims.

It was airbrushed Duplicolor Mirage purple/ green.

Is this the 40 year old Tarantula dragster? I build a T.V. Tommy Ivo and a Tarantula as a kid. T.V.'s had orange molding and the Tarantula had puke green.

It was built from a 2010 reissue of the original Tarantula kit. It was molded in green plastic.

I used body filler to reshape the nose to look like a 60s dragster.
