Wonderbread Kustomz Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Well I got this a few weeks ago when I moved and decided to build it... I grew up around the minitruck scene of the late 80s early 90s , so I wanted to build it like that... I fabbed a roll pan and smoothed it out and smoked the tail lights and tinted the back window and suns screen... Testors paint... Red flake over flat black base.... Rims are from the 34 Ford truck and tires are reversed 5.20 white walls.... Lowered and interior is flocked with racing seats instead of the kit supplied seats...
Scuderia Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I like it, real cool customization on this kit. Nicely done!
slusher Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Super sharp and clean build. Great stance and engine detail.
Toast Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 very cool build. Looks sharp. That color suits the truck very well too!
Skydime Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 (edited) That's a smooth dime and a half. But I gotta ask, what's up with the windshield? It looks like it is actually a little too big for it's framing. Was the part actually made wrong from Revell? BTW, did I miss a post on the Xb in your avatar? That thing looks pretty sweet from here. Wonderbread Kustomz Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 Ken, this POS. kit was warped pretty bad... Even after getting it back in shape that glass just wouldn't fit right... Found the Xb pic online... Thought it was pretty dope
Skydime Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Eh, at least you made lemonade out of a lemon.
mini trucker Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Looks sweet man! Wheels really set it off
Sixgunner68 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Sweet! Looks like there's alot going on under the hood!
