Doctordarryl
Here is my latest build. I am pretty sure this is not a truck so the post should stay here. You have to hunt in the Pick Up Truck forum for my post on Darryl Starbird's Ultra Truck custom show car. Maybe they need to add a Custom Truck forum to be correct????? The paint is airbrushed House of Kolor Kandy Oriental Blue over Orion Silver with a clear coat. Tires were from an AMT parts pack. Wheels were from the newer AMT AlaKart kit. Baby moons were from Parts by Parks. Interior buttons were PE dots. The engine was from a Revell 32 Ford 5-window coupe kit with a tourqueflight transmission from a Revell 40 Willys street rod kit. Fun old kit.

ToyLvr
Great build, Darryl! I think you've really captured the essence of Starbird's latest iteration of his famed Predicta. I know he says that this shade of blue is his idea of the perfect color for the car, but I personally have always liked Monogram's Candy Red version. Would love to see you build one painted in red... Shardik
Very cool! Nice job on the pleated hood liner, and that paint looks like I could dive in and take a swim.
RatRod
You hit the nail on the head with this one too!!! Beautiful build of the restored car as it sits today, excellent detailing, and perfect fit of the top. I'm a little more partial to the original red version. unclescott58
Nice build. I've always thought the car looks best in blue. You did a great job. Just picked up one of these in the last month or so. How tough of a build is the kit? Instructions make it look fairly easy. But, I'm always worried by things like the center console steering setup, and the bubble top.
