DrKerry Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 This isn't being built as a factory correct stocker. It's more of a mild kustom.
DrKerry Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 Thanks gents. I too love the long roofs!!!! Not sure when but when I get it done it'll be going to resin.
PappyD340 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Very NICE Kerry, love the look, great start so far!!
Speedfreak Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I still have a t-shirt with that cat on it that a friend got me at a Stray Cats concert in '83, cool. Interesting build.
hjracing Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Cool project! It can be a really nice '62 Nomad!
DrKerry Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 Thanks guys......... Stray Cats Rock!!!!!!!!!
Space Cowboy Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 You are doing a great job. I did one some time back and when your done I think it will look super..
DrKerry Posted October 27, 2013 Author Posted October 27, 2013 Thanks Bruce... Gotta get some putty on it now.
Erik Smith Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Cool, and nice work so far. Man, it looks like the resin wagon was based on the ill-designed first issue of the Lindberg Impala…little extra bow in that windshield cowl area...

Man, it looks like the resin wagon was based on the ill-designed first issue of the Lindberg Impala…little extra bow in that windshield cowl area... Uumm, the Lindberg was a 61 though....... LOL This is a Revell 62.....
om617 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Very nice project. Did Revell make the bubble top for 62? Thought this was AMT only.
Erik Smith Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Uumm, the Lindberg was a 61 though....... LOL This is a Revell 62..... The '61 resin wagon in the first photo, behind the '62 hardtop body, the one you cut the roof off…Lindberg's first round of that kit had the cowl shaped incorrectly - they fixed it in subsequent issues - but the resin wagon you chopped the roof off looks like it was based on the original… I am not really contributing anything, just saying... I will be watching the long roof transformation, though
vette1955 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Awesome work Kerry! Let me know when you get resin copies!!

You are right, I thought you were talking of the one I put the roof onto. Guess I'm slippin!!!! Thanks guys, glad ya like it so far...
Tom Geiger Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 That does look like a hearse from Argentina...
