sensei kamikaze Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Chevelle 1970 I want to share my latest build after the disaster build of the Ford F-100, I decide to go for something simple, so I did this Snap model just for the fun. Let me told you about the painting process, the model came very polished I just sand away some mold marks, the emblems and the hood pins, re-polish this areas and ten apply just one coat of Tamiya X-1 black, then apply the decals and over it four coats of future, it ends really shinny but even then I polish more, sanding with 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000 and 12000, the final shine was with Tamiya wax, you can see the excellent shine. I have applied the bare-metal over the windows and somehow the car did not look right so I remove it, and I believe that it helps to the over all look. I hope you like it and comment Bonus pictures: the interior before to be installed
