I recently started a garage dio a couple weeks ago... So after opening "Wonderbread Kustomz" ... I felt I needed a "Wonderbread Tow and Recovery" truck to go with it....
So far I've grinded and sanded the backside of the grill... First time doing this... And the engine halves glued together... I'll update this as I go...

Nice work so far. I remember grinding out the back of that grille about 20 years ago. Not hard to do. The 41 Chevy grille I just did a couple of months ago was a BEAR!

Are you scratchbuilding the bed and boom? I had reference pics years ago of a similar set up on a 51 Chevy in Alaska. I should have built it.

Nice project. I'll be watching.

Your front tires are too small. You need 23's all around if you are using Pegasus wheels. If I'm not mistaken Pegasus did some 23's with a taller side wall. I'd try those on the back and the ones you have on the rear in the front.

I dunno, I was in the towing business, actually owned my own company . I've built wreckers , drove wreckers , worked on others wreckers , made models of wreckers . The tires ................... I dunno .
