lanesteele240 Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) Hey. A little good luck. This kit has a 1/25 m2. It also has some goodies for the inside of the bus like guns, seat, ax, gas tank and others. I got it for 11 bucks at hobby lobby with a 40% offer Edited November 30, 2013 by lanesteele240

Chuck Most Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Somebody takes their kids' education VERY seriously! Absolutely love the way this one's shaping up.
fantacmet Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I used that same rusting set with good results, but I had bad results at first too. What I did was thinned in and put it through a large orifice airbrush. I stuck it through a medium tip aztec nozzle. If I remember correctly it is an acrylic base. I could be wrong though. I either thinned it with rubbing alcohol or plain paint thinner. Then after it dried for a few days I actually wrapped it in thin toilet paper and soaked that with the rusting stuff and then pressed it down in spots. Took about a week with repeated applications in some spots, but it ended up turning out fairly well. So just a heads up if you decide you wanna give it another shot. If you wanna try something different look up Karl Logan's techniques. He does a good job.
slusher Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Looking Killer Gary, this would look great in the Walking Dead or Mad Max. Very creative project...
