Terminator-Fox Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Yeah I don't think you were very rusty on this model How did you get the Fairlane script on the quarter panel to turn out so good?
smellyfatdude Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Don't know what you'd be worried about. Your love of those old Fords shows up every time you build one. No exception in this case, either.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 Thanks again guys. About that script on the quarter panel, well it's just brush painted chrome silver. This AMT kit has great 3D detail on the scripts, and they survive well a couple of coats of paint.
Sixties Sam Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Very nice! Great paint and foil work. Nice work! Sam
Bob Ellis Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Nice touch with the SC Florinopolis license plate! Don't forget the little wire that permanently attaches the plate to the car. Very nice work on this Ford. Great details.
Ramfins59 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 That is a beautiful Ford Tulio. Great job.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 Thanks again guys!!! Nice touch with the SC Florinopolis license plate! Don't forget the little wire that permanently attaches the plate to the car. Very nice work on this Ford. Great details. Thanks! I always put local license plates on my models. if I put the ones that came with the kit, the car would be all the way up in the U.S.!!! How could I own it then?? :D The wire goes only on the back plate. Here in Brazil, the licence plate belongs to the car for life, and not to the owner. if the car is sold to another town, it keeps the letters and numbers, but the city name changes.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 The most I like the orange Ford, my pride and joy is this one, that I built the way I like, all factory stock the way the cars are supposed to stay (IMHO). Color is FoMoCo Raven Black, interior is factory option Colonial and medium gray. The car have some FoMoCo accessories like the trunk mounted antenna, and the dual fender mirrors. I think the '57 Ford is just the most beautiful and perfect car produced in the '50s. 1957 Fairlanes par Túlio Lazzaroni Lovefordgalaxie, on ipernity
