Harry P. Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Brian is dead! He got hit by a car in yesterday's episode.
Scale-Master Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 That is one character I wish they had not killed off.
martinfan5 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 He is coming back as per the interent, supposedly there are a few Brain centered episodes in 2014
1930fordpickup Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 How can they kill off the Brian ? They can lose Peter he adds nothing. Up until they killed Kenny oops killed Brian it was a good show.
Scale-Master Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 He is coming back as per the interent, supposedly there are a few Brain centered episodes in 2014 Yeah, because we know they can't say anything that isn't true on the internet.
martinfan5 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Yeah, because we know they can't say anything that isn't true on the internet. exactly!
Nxr Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 They need to put Hank Hill into an episode of family guy.
PowerPlant Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 (edited) Apparently Seth MacFarlane is fed up with the show, and is looking for ways to end it... I stopped following it about two seasons ago, so I'm not too upset to hear this. Like in real life, however, the dog was one of the better characters in that cartoon... Along with Quagmire, of course Edited November 25, 2013 by PowerPlant
Tom Geiger Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I haven't watched it in a while, but saw the big news headlines on AOL this morning. Brian was the most intelligent family member and my favorite. They could have killed off the son or daughter and nobody would have noticed!
James2 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Perhaps he is pregnant and that was the only way to write him out of the script....
Harry P. Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 I read that they were looking to "shake things up." I guess they did! I would have preferred they keep Brian. But at least they didn't kill off Stewie!
Scale-Master Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 It's almost a surprise they didn't off Meg.
martinfan5 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 (edited) It's almost a surprise they didn't off Meg. Agreed, I would of rather that happen then Brian Edited November 26, 2013 by martinfan5
Harry P. Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 Meg... or Chris. Or even the wheelchair guy.
Craig Irwin Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 The whole concept of a dog interacting as a human never worked for me.

Maindrian Pace Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 So is someone going to build a model of the E350 that waxed him? -MJS
Harry P. Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 The whole concept of a dog interacting as a human never worked for me. But that was the whole point! That's what made it funny. Or not. Depends on your point of view...
Custom Hearse Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 They need to put Hank Hill into an episode of family guy. They did... In season 4 episode 26, called Petergeist, Peter Griffen digs up an Indian chief skull in the back yard. About 1/3rd of the way in the episode, Peter stands in front of a mirror, peeling his face off. When he gets all the skin peeled away, Hank Hill's reflection is in the mirror.
Fabrux Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 I stopped watching Family Guy when they did the Christmas special where Stewie and Brian were covering for Santa Claus. For some reason, even after all the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH they'd done throughout the years, that episode just turned me off.
JM485 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 They need to put Hank Hill into an episode of family guy. No kidding. Whatever happened to that show? It used to be my favorite years ago, there was actually quite a bit of substance and meaning to that show.
Roadkill2525 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 No kidding. Whatever happened to that show? It used to be my favorite years ago, there was actually quite a bit of substance and meaning to that show.Replaced by more of Seth's garbage aka American Dad and The Cleveland Show.
Scale-Master Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Shoulda killed off Cleveland before the Brian, both on the show and the spin off. I think the only (or real) reason it is a sore point for me that they killed off Brian is my affinity for dogs.
