Fun_E_Car Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Some of you over the years have probably have seen these before, but I thought I'd post them here for those that haven't seen 'em. I built the '77 & '78 Corvette's of Tom McEwen for my brother's 40th birthday a few years back. Here is the 1978 Silver Mongoo$e Corvette. Scratch built the spoiler, interior tin, wheelie bars and the correct Sarté fuel cell. Also created the correct Grille in Photoshop.
AZ Boy Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Turned out spot-on to the pics I've seen of this car. Great job again Dave!
DuaneB Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 A good friend of mine just finished restoring the real 1:1 car. It's a neat car. Nice job on the model.
DrKerry Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Man I like this, hey my 45th is coming up!!!!
Hawk312 Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Both of these look great! Where did you get those wheels?
Fun_E_Car Posted December 7, 2013 Author Posted December 7, 2013 Wheels are from Competition Resins: http://www.compresins.com/site/751597/product/CRC-014 Then I had them chromed but, I forget by who? I am sure someone here would know where to get them chromed. --Dave
