Silver Foxx Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Another magic build Brian , looks awesome.
Brianl Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 Thanks for the great feedback - I think this is the first four seater I have ever done! Lee - Hemi is from an old Dodge Daytons kit (MPC?) - probably the worst body I have come across but the engine detail was good. I think the dash is from a mid 40's Ford... it was in the ol' parts box. Ron - Body, frame & grill were donated as an old build. I think it was a kit called the Phantom Vicki but I could be wrong. Here's the front end... Jim - My signature pic is a thing called the Ice Manx, one of my favoutire builds thanks. Randy - Wheels & tyres are from a local online mob called the Parts Box. I'm sure they would be happy to help you out Thanks again for the encouragement Brian
rmvw guy Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Very cool Brian! The Manx is sweet also, nicest up to date looking version I have ever seen. I also like traditional but, this is sweet!
Jantrix Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 That's really very cool. The cut down '39 grill works very well.
the goon Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Man, that is cool. Love the colors, love all of it. Mark
Guest Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 That's a cool looking hot rod! Definitely gives me some ideas for all of those parts I have left over from parting those kits out.
Tom Geiger Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I like that a whole lot! It's become more and more difficult to do something completely different with a '32 and you've done it!
Helix Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Good stuff Brian, saw this build and made a comment on the Aussie forum
Brianl Posted December 25, 2013 Author Posted December 25, 2013 Ever finished a build but it bugged you that there was something not quite right about it. The lines on the Vicki just didn't flow I pulled the motor out & lowered it to match the body line & added a ribbed apron to the bottom of the grill to clean it up. If I find some chrome bullet lights I might add them later but I like it as it is Happy now, it can go into the cabinet & rest in peace. Have a happy Christmas & inventive new year Brian
