kilrathy10
I finally finished this bad boy....Thanks for all who followed this one....I had a BLAST doing it....Didn't start off that way, but as I progressed, it just took off from there.....Anyway, here's what I've done....I scratch built a drop deck trailer for it....I've never done one of these before...So, as it is my first one, I just winged most of it....the only measurement that wasn't eyeballed from a picture I had is that it is, indeed a scale 48'....As for the Lonestar, I added a couple of side boxes and a headache rack....I used some diamond plating for the deck and some extra chrome sprue for the side rails on the rear portion of the chassis....I thought it worked out pretty good....So, without further adoo..... This thing looks good even without the roof fairing..... Edited December 30, 2013 by kilrathy10

May I ask you what kind of wheels you used for the trailer, where are these availiable??? Kostas. I use the 1/32 scale wheels and tires from the New Ray models found at various truck stops, here in America....Not sure if there is a website or something that you could get them from....Those little models are pretty cool, and I hate to have to rip the wheels off of them, but you have to break some eggs to make an omelette....I know the UK has something similar to these, but as a rule of thumb, anything 1/32 scale could offer some decent sized wheels.... And thank you, very much for you uplifting comments....Coming from you, that means a lot....I've seen some of your amazing builds, too.... Thanks, Man....The connections are coming.....The picture I used has the connections under the upper deck and connected to the back end of the truck chassis....I was waiting till I figured out a way to do this, or just go with a standard kind of setup.....Still debating that one....
