Waiting for the clear to dry on the 57 Fuel Coupe so I can polish it so I thought I would line up my next wip. I will be using the other dragster from the double kit plus using a resin Fiat body. Have most of the cleanup of the body done and will start on the chassis soon. fiatdragsternewwip001_zpscbdf4885.jpg

Moving forward on this build. Chassis close to being done. next then will be doing some measuring to see where and how much to cut the body for fit.

Thanks. I got the body cut up this morning so it will fit the frame. Just cleaning the resin now and plan to get some primer on it later. Photos to follow hopefully this afternoon.

I like the look's of this one, curious what kind of engine that is...it is a Ford hehe. You build really fast Ray, where do you display all your finshed kit's.

Engine is a nailhead and came with the double kit. Never thought I built all that quick but the last 2 were pretty simple except for narrowing the body on the 57 drag fuel coupe. Plus I don't put in very much detail as a rule. As for where do I put them ? I have some display cases and some go back in the box and in a closet.

Bill that looks very cool. I have one Pinewood Derby car kit that is supposed to look like a Cobra. It does not. : )

Thanks...........body is made from balsa............you need the weight low so the lighter you can make the body the better. I bought nothing on this car. Everything is scratch built...........everything. Sorry, the motor was from a kit.
