squirrel886 Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 .......I've been toying w/ some ideas on the kit. Not sure where its going at the moment.
Revstew Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Looking forward to seeing this move forward. I like both of the wheel options you have shown so far.
crazyrichard Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 (edited) aaah the dan fink kit , cool i build two of those andrebuild both again , i added real wood in the panels and later build a custom woody roadster from this kit def. keep the first rims and white walls , those just look right on the car Edited January 9, 2014 by crazyrichard
PappyD340 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I like the first set of wheels too, I like Richard's idea of real wood panels too!!
crazyrichard Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 idea wise (this is a early build of me ) i did this back then > you already cut open the panels like i did then i saw and i also build the dan fink like this > just used the front and the interiour panels and cut the roof and body off started covering the interiour panels with real wood i showed this because you could keep the roof and rear pillars and with the interiour panels in place could rebuild the whole wood section from real wood .. so maybe this gives you some idea's or did you already have a plan made ? oh and i'm sometimes a bit silly so i cut up the first green speedwagon and made this > i really would like to buy a nother one , these kits are awsome and you can do so much with them
Skypower Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Wow the options seem limitless with this kit can't wait to what happens next with this kit.
squirrel886 Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Here's the new chassis as a result of insomnia.
squirrel886 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 @Bob, no updates yet. I did some clean up work but no major construction. I'm looking for "scale" hiem joints to build the 4 link suspension.
squirrel886 Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 Finally trim the interior side panels and seat for fitment. *trimmed
Skypower Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 @Bob, no updates yet. I did some clean up work but no major construction. I'm looking for "scale" hiem joints to build the 4 link suspension. RB Motion has them I just ordered some for my 32 sedan.
squirrel886 Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 Apparently, I had one started (on the left) that I forgot about, besides the one on the right which is also pictured above. I'm getting old and forgetful.
