crazyjim Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I finished this guy a couple of weeks ago and forgot to post pics. I used HOK oriental blue over a planet green basecoat. The grill is a real fine mesh. I had to tub it to keep the big tires under the fenders.
PappyD340 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 That's PURTY Jim, I like it and it's shiny too!!
slusher Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Real impressive build Jim, I like the look of grill and headlights. What did you use for the headlights.??
Bartster Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Very sweet ! Love that blue. Are the headers home made ? Perfect stance with a 70s flavor on the fascia. Nice work, Jim !
crazyjim Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Thank you all. The headlights are from a GMC Syclone kit and the headers were in the pickup kit. SHINY :) RULES!
Dinky Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Nice build Jim, engine detail is very cool. One question: Why are the rear wheels so far inside, they don't look so huge or is the axle so small??
crazyjim Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Thanks guys. Arno, I shortened the axle quite a bit. The tires are big. I could actually brought them out an 1/8" or so, but not more.
cobraman Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Nice work Jim. If it ain't shiny it's just dull. : )
crazyjim Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 Thanks guys. You got that right, Ray.
Greg Cullinan Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Nice Jim. As usual it's very SHINY ?. I like the wheels and stance.
