bigempty Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) I've been looking for this model for quite some time, then i realise that it's not available, unless it a resin kit that will cost me a bomb, so i decided to scratch build and use Toyota Levin Te27 from fujimi as it base. I start this project from Nov last year,This is the progress so far. Edited February 22, 2014 by bigempty

bigempty Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 Thanks guys, for the warm welcome, it's been a long week but got some progress running.
bigempty Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 a little update, really no idea for the engine bay
stump Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Welcome. And.....WOW! That has to be the best transformation I've seen in a very long time. Two thumbs up my friend, GREAT work going on there. If you had posted saying you made it from a Toyota (without pics) I would have called you on it. Simply incredible the work just to get the correct shape. Bravo!
Skydime Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 (edited) This is a great conversion! I would've had a hard time believing it started as a Toyota either without the pics. Someone really needs to make this as a kit. Are you doing the gold wheels and rally lights like Brian's Escort in Fast and Furious 6? If so, it could sure go with the F&F community build. Thanks, F&F 6 was what inspired me and the death of Paul Walker made me started this build. And yeah, i agreed they should have made this kit in 1/24. Can i ask? where is this F&F community builds?
