cruz Posted December 3, 2007 Author Posted December 3, 2007 Hey! Where you get that Bro?? I like it!..............Alot!! More details man! Hey my friend, I saw this thing believe it or not in Hobytown USA almost 3 years ago for 50 Bucs and I never really took a good look at it until Luis Ayala built one similar about a month ago. Could not believe that this was still there with a 50% off sale and just had to have it. It is a Fujimi and very hard to get kit. Porsche also made one of these bicycles. They truly look very realistic......
dub Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Very cool! I saw the thread thinking "chopper", but I was surprised. These do look very realistic. The spoke thickness is the only giveaway. How difficult was it?
cruz Posted December 3, 2007 Author Posted December 3, 2007 Yes, that was the only thing I didn't like about the spokes, just a tad out of scale but everything else was perfect. It was not that difficult, Fujimi did this so everything fit pretty good.....
Luis Ayala Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 (edited) :o WOW!!!!!! It turned out beautiful bro... You did an "exelente" job, congratulations looks way better than the one I built... Edited December 3, 2007 by Papin67
Daniel Peterson Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 My younger (yeah, but he's still 43) brother has been racing bicycles since high school on and off...just got back into it AGAIN after deciding it'll never get out of his blood. He's been looking for a bicycle kit, but opportunity always seems to knock while he's in the loo.... He'll flip when I show him!!! It's very cool Cruz!!! And (as usual) extremely well done!
bsoder Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 That is way cool!...didn't see the scale?...1/6-i/8?...very nice
cruz Posted December 4, 2007 Author Posted December 4, 2007 That is way cool!...didn't see the scale?...1/6-i/8?...very nice Sorry guys, it's a 1/8 scale...... This is a picture of the box, again is by Fujimi and it's pretty rare. They also have a Porsche bike! http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/mmm...aproject043.jpg This is a link to the building process so that you can see how detailed this beautiful kit is, I wish I could find another one. Funny thing is that I saw this kit about 3 years ago in a local Hobby Shop for 50.00 dollars and kept going back and never really got interested in buying it until a good friend of mine built a 1/6 scale bicycle that was given to him. He did such a fine job on it that I just had to build one and was lucky enough to get it on sale for half the price because no one was ever interested. If you are lucky enough to find one probably in e-bay or something, grab it or please let me know, they are really well executed kits.
cruz Posted December 4, 2007 Author Posted December 4, 2007 By the way, the picture on the kit box is of the 1/1 bike, Mercedes Benz made a number of these bikes several years ago and I remember them being sold I believe at about 5000.00 dollars a pop, I don't know how much Porsche sold theirs but I am sure they were not very cheap!!!!
ismaelg Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Very nice Marcos! Darn it! Now I want to do one Thanks,

Randy Kern Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Cruz, that is pretty cool! I want to see you put some miniature poker cards on the frame, to make a racket on the spokes!
Dragon7665 Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Great Looking Build Marcos Sorry guys, it's a 1/8 scale...... This is a picture of the box, again is by Fujimi and it's pretty rare.
