dino246gt Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Nice work, looks like a very cool rod coming up!
slusher Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Nice work, looks like a very cool rod coming up! I agree
ratchetman87 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Seeing your 32' just sparked my interest in doing some work on my 29' project that has stalled out. Nice work on the frame, how are you planning to run the tunnel for the driveshaft? Im just curious because thats the issue im having with my 29' . I want it to sit almost on the ground but the driveshaft runs almost right through the center of the body which means one really high tunnel. Ill be watching this very closely and taking some notes.
chadrob30 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Hey Trey, glad to see you on here. You are in a few of the Facebook model groups I am in...frame is looking good. Wish I had the eyesight and patience to do that, lol.
squirrel886 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Nice work Trey! Hope I get to see it next week at the meeting.
chadrob30 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Hey there's Bradley Chun too...small world eh?
bryan_m Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 oooh! very nice! nice wheel choice too, those look realy good on there. cheers bryan
trey1897 Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 Thanks Brad, hope to see you at the meeting, and thanks bryan.
ratchetman87 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Correct me if im wrong but isnt this the stacey david rat roaster by revell? The wheels and tires on your project look the same as the ones that come with rat roaster. Looks good either way though.
trey1897 Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 yes this is the rat roadster kit, i scratch built the frame out of styrene strip, and a few other details as well. Everything else is from the kit.
Dinky Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Nice start, the color scheme is cool. One question, why didnt you made a Z in the front of the chassis its looks so square now?
ratchetman87 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) Looks very cool, like the color scheme you chose. It reminds me of the old military jeeps. Youd make stacey david very proud with your rendition of this model. Edited January 21, 2014 by ratchetman87
