Tom Geiger Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Hey Ray! I only just saw this post for the first time. I hope all is well with you and your wife!
cobraman Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 Thanks guys. Things are going pretty good. She is feeling great but has an open wound that I have to change twice a day. It is quite painful for her but it needs to be done. I am as careful and as gentel as I can be but it still hurts her. Her wound is about the size of a quarter on the surface but opens up larger under the top layer and is about 1 1/2 inches deep. It needs to be packed with gauze soaked in saline solution. The removal and then the packing is painful. I hate that I have to hurt her but it needs to be done right to help avoid infection.
slusher Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 That's all you can do Ray is be gentle as you can. The pain should ease up in days to come...I am glad things are going well..
