Hi Ray,

Great to hear that your wife came through the operation OK and would like to wish her a speedy recovery and all the best...

Thanks guys. Things are going pretty good. She is feeling great but has an open wound that I have to change twice a day. It is quite painful for her but it needs to be done. I am as careful and as gentel as I can be but it still hurts her. Her wound is about the size of a quarter on the surface but opens up larger under the top layer and is about 1 1/2 inches deep. It needs to be packed with gauze soaked in saline solution. The removal and then the packing is painful. I hate that I have to hurt her but it needs to be done right to help avoid infection.

I would have a hard time causing my wife pain too, even for her own good. I don't envy You one bit Ray. Stay strong. And speedy recovery...to You both!
