ridinframe Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Got this kit from my nephew over a year ago, haven't really worked on it much since I got it. When I got it, I dropped it to the ground, which entailed a lot more cutting then you'd think.. I notched the rear of the frame and cut the spring pockets on the front of the frame. I cut out the front and the back wheel wells, cut and notched the floor between the rear wheel wells.. I shaved the firewall and frenched in the brake master cylinder.. I also had to lift the trans and drive shaft tunnel.. The rear axle will have a 2 link set up with a pan-hard bar.. I also made airbags for the front and rear.. As for the body, the kit comes pretty custom with shaved door handles and the chop top.. I took out the B pillar and remade the rear fender skirts so the fit better.. I also shaved the rear lights and cut open the trunk.. I've been getting back into this kit over the last week or so, I think I'll probably have it done with in the next month or so..
